Drapers’ Hall, London

Type: Commercial
Designer: Helen Gladstone

This city garden provides an outdoor space for the Grade II listed Drapers’ Hall. The garden was founded in 1544 but was redesigned to improve the raised planter beds and retention of existing trees, to alter paving to create disable access into the Livery Hall, external lighting and new planting across the scheme.

Challenges included working on a listed project within a conservation area, with difficult access due to its location.
